Datalicious Hires Fairfax Data Director For Newly-Created Role

Global full-service data analytics agency Datalicious has announced it has consolidated its data science, engineering and web analytics teams under its newly-appointed head of data science and engineering, Yorgos Moschovis.

Moschovis will join Datalicious at the end of June from Fairfax Media, where he was the director of data and audience insights, managing its digital analytics teams in Sydney and Melbourne. Prior to that, Moschovis worked at Singtel as head of business intelligence.

Datalicious’ Founder and CEO Christian Bartens said Moschovis’s role aims to eliminate silos.

“We live in a multi-channel world where all too often silos prevent marketers from realising the true potential of their data assets,” he said.

“There simply shouldn’t be the concept of separate channels – they are all just touch points as part of a customer journey.

“At Datalicious, we recognise this, and Yorgos brings the right experience to the business to help eliminate our own silos and enable us to better service our customers.”
