New App Makes Polling Fast and Fun

Former Fox Sports and News Limited executive Matt Garrett is the co-founder of Chant, a just-released software product helping publishers attract engagement with quick, fast and fun audience participation.

Chant was originally an enterprise-grade social broadcast tool, used by clients including Fox Sports and Telstra, but the new version of the product can be used by publishers of all shapes and sizes.

Garrett said Chant polls are a fully immersive, rich experience designed for ease of use across mobile and web.

“Beautiful polls attract engagement. With Chant there are no radio buttons or checkboxes to be seen. Polls can be used to kick start discussion, canvas opinion or provide real-time feedback,” Garrett said.

With a free Chant account, publishers can create an unlimited number of polls using images, tweets and YouTube videos instantly, with unlimited votes.  Chant’s premium features allow publishers to customise the look of their polls and manage team accounts.

“Chant is beautifully designed and has a seamless, mobile first, responsive interface. It really bridges a gap between the individual’s thirst for social polling and a product that will tick most boxes for publishers as well,” Garrett said.

“A bunch of very smart guys have engineered a solution that is not only future proof, but right up there at the edge of the technology curve. This is just the beginning.”

Matt Garrett is currently the general manager and Head of Product for FanHub, a digital agency specialising in the online gaming and entertainment space. He has a wealth of digital and information systems experience, ultimately resulting in the start-up of sister company, Chant off the back of FanHub’s success.
