We Are Social hires 4 big guns

Social media agency, We Are Social, have appointed four new faces for some of its senior roles in the Sydney office.

Sabrina Antoniou has been appointed as group account director, Anthony Da Silva as senior account director, Cristina Forlani as account director and Dr Jim Li as senior IT professional.

“We Are Social welcomes the new team members who will help us on our mission of putting 'social thinking' at the centre of marketing,” Julian Ward, managing director at We Are Social, said.

“They add a wealth of experience and will greatly enhance our ability to deliver effective communication programs for our clients.”

Antoniou joins the agency from a similar position at Mercer Bell and brings with her more than 15 years experience in agency and marketing roles.

Originally UK-based, Da Silva has worked among large agencies such as M&C Saatchi, Droga5 and Lavender in Australia.

Forlani brings an Italian and global perspective to the agency, joining from the We Are Social team in Milan and has a large amount of experience in digital, social and PR-type practices.

Li brings a wealth of experience in software and computer systems, having a PHD in Systems and Computer Engineering.
