Women.United Video Series: The Bathroom Files

Last week, B&T partnered with News Corp’s With Her In Mind Network (WHIMN) to celebrate International Women’s Day in style at Fred’s in Paddington. Women from the media landscape gathered for a delicious lunch – with a side of inspiration.

News Corp’s Nicole Sheffield announced a brand new WHIMN mentor initiative before the ABC’s Kirstin Ferguson gave a keynote speech that had all the attendees listening eagerly.

To keep in the theme of mentors, during the event we pulled a few of the women aside – some with their mentors or colleagues and some by themselves – to pick their brains on inspiring female figures, their best advice and more.

Fred’s is a loud restaurant, so to film these inspirational media women we had to sneak away somewhere quiet. There were a few against a blank wall, a few in Fred’s underground bar (which you saw yesterday) and a few filmed in the bathroom – which is todays theme.

First up (in this series of three) are the adorable Claire Salvetti from One Green Bean, and Kirsty Muddle from Cummins & Partners. Make sure you catch the killer advice at the beginning (and the cute hug at the end).

Next up is Nicole McInnes from Woolies X and her mentor Kylie Fitzpatrick, CEO of Team Women Australia – who discuss the women they’d love to meet and why.

And finally, meet Amelia Priest, CEO of Just Snacks, and her mentor, Rowena Frith.
