As the National Creative Director in Australia’s biggest Digital Agency, Carmela leads a team of 20 creatives.
Her experience and guidance has seen the seniors step into mentorship roles and enabled open-ended discussion where juniors are encouraged to raise their voice.
Carmela has won more than 100 awards, and this year was recognised at the Women Leading Change Awards from Campaign Asia Paci c, in the category of Creative Leader.
She believes that role models shape our careers from the beginning and dedicates a lot of her time to education for the industry.
Carmela’s greatest ambition is seeing an industry where women can feel as comfortable as men to speak their minds, put their ideas forward and help reshape perspective in advertising.
