Media agency OMD Australia is focused on recruiting, developing and promoting women in media – and have a number of initiatives and training programs in place to bene t women in the industry.
Some 65 per cent of its sta are women and, contrary to most companies, 64 per cent of its executive team are also women, as well as 78 per cent of the C suite of CEOs, MDs and GMs.
Managers at OMD are put through unconscious bias training to raise awareness of bias and its impact on decision-making in the workplace. It supports change and helps improve diversity outcomes that contribute to the company’s productivity and performance.
In March OMD also doubled its paid parental leave policy to 16 weeks, putting it a the forefront of the industry.
